Pier 37 Boathouse: Reviews & Ratings
The best thing about the fried food is the batter is very light. The fish and chips were fabulous - 2 huge pieces of cod. The onion rings looked kind of sad but ended up being delicious - crispy and oniony. I enjoyed my fried clams. The mixed drink had a generous amount of alcohol. The staff were great. The atmosphere is terrific. (Don't go ~4 when all the boats are coming in - noisy!) I'd like to give it 4½ stars. I was here in late June before the Cape season was in full swing.
What a beautiful setting for a bar grill. The atmosphere and view were second to none. They had live entertainment and the place was packed. Food and drinks were flowing and the staff were enjoying themselves while handling their customers. The drinks were made well and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is one of the destinations you must take in while you are on the cape. I would highly recommend this for gatherings parties or a place to come unwind for the evening
We ordered the poke bowl with tuna and cod. They were delicious and definitely fresh seafood. Try their coconut margaritas; it was our first time and hooked with this drink. Clam chowder was also good. We sat outside on perfect weather and enjoyed the delicious meal on our first night of our vacation. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our waiter was a young kid and gave us great customer service.
Atmosphere was great, cocktails delicious. The only issue was that the hostess did not give proper instructions upon our arrival. She assumed we were just headed to the bar and subsequently did not send a waitperson over. We were then made to move from a table that was never used during our time there, bc tables were for folks ordering food and not just grabbing cocktails. There were 4 of us, not able to talk to each other at the bar bc of the layout. The table we were made to move from, stayed empty the entire time. Still empty when we left. We would have gladly moved if they needed to seat dinner guests, but that was not the case. Have not been there in quite some time, but this experience kinda spoiled it for me.
Enjoyed a light lunch with a friend at this lovely spot overlooking Falmouth Harbor. I had an Asian cabbage salad that was very good and my friend had a poke bowl that she loved. Looking forward to going back when the weather is nice and we can take advantage of their great deck.
Great location and nice vibe, but the service left a lot to be desired. Our experience was let down by poor service at the bar. Mike, our bartender, had the personality of stale bread. We waited over 10 minutes before having to ask for his attention—even though the bar wasn't that busy. He acted like we should feel lucky he even acknowledged us. In contrast, the other bartender was clearly working hard and handling the busy side like a total pro. When our oysters arrived, we asked the food runner for plates and were told, "your server will get them for you." Sorry, but that’s part of your job too! Thank goodness for Kendall—she noticed what was going on and stepped in to take great care of us. Funny enough, Mike only became friendly once we asked for the check. Bartending is about more than pouring drinks—it’s about hospitality!
